The International Society of Dacryology and Dry Eye has periodical triennial international congresses and periodical courses.
The triennial congresses are decided in the previous congress. The next congress will take place in Madrid, on 1-3 April 2005. It will have two simultaneous events, one for scientific participants and attendants, and another for patients with dry eye. The official language will be English, except for the courses for patients, which will be in English and Spanish. Juan Murube, MD, PhD will be the organizer.

The periodical courses are usually national meetings that also have two simultaneous events, one for scientific participants and attendants, and another for patients with dry eye. These courses are held in the language of the country where they take place and/or in English.
